as a person that went from maining 1.8 PvP for 4 years and then started maining 1.20 PvP, I can safely say you are right. 1.20 PvP is WAY better and takes way more skill than just spam clicking

Honestly, the mouse is made bridging so it being heavier just means you need a higher sensitivity if it’s too heavy for you
